Introduction

Did you ever gaze at the clouds and wonder about the weather?  Did you know that you can be a junior meteorologist?  After completing this web quest, you will have the power and the knowledge. Relax, enjoy, and imagine…you'll be a meteorologist in no time.  Good luck!!

 

Task

Your job is to create flashcards of the ten cloud types.  You may print from the web site, or you may draw your own pictures depending on your artistic ability.  Label the name of the cloud on the back.  Using information from the web links provided, create a five-word vocabulary list for each cloud type.  Be able to justify why you selected the words for each type.  

 

Process

You will work in teams of four. Select a team captain.  Divide the assignments.  Although each member may have a specific job, it is the responsibility of all members to check behind all other members to ensure completion of all components of the assignment

Conclusion
