Everlost by Neal Shusterman

Neal Shusterman creates a fascinating setting in this novel - the story takes place in a world known as "Everlost." This is an appropriate name because the world exists for children (aged 14 and under) who have died - yet their body and souls remain. They are, in a sense, ghosts -but not the haunting kind you typically read about in most fiction.
Nick and Allie are involved in a horrific car crash. Rather than surviving the accident or finding themselves in another "higher" place, they wake up to this mysterious world. Caught between the living and the deceased, Allie and Nick find themselves searching for answers and eventually fighting for their sanity and freedom. The author manages (once again) to create a fantastic story that extends beyond your imagination and makes it realistic for the reader. The characters in the story are complex. The reader will question which people in Everlost are actually evil - seemingly sweet Mary who takes in all the children and provides them with a home or the "evil" McGill who traps Everlost children and leaves them dangling (literally!) for all eternity in his pirate ship? Will Nick and Allie find themselves a place in this world? Will they ever reach their final destination? Read Everlost to find out!

This book is AWSOME even though it took me a year to read it i couldnt put the book down the reason why it took me a year because i cant read that good so i read slow but i get a lot of reading done so but anyways the is AWSOME you would like it if you read it…..
This book is really good ..when you read it..it creates a picture in your mind almost like a movie..this book and full tilt are very good full tilt is also made by Neal Shusterman..but these are my favorite books including Twilight..New Moon..Eclipse..and Breaking Dawn..by Stephenie Meyer
Sooo good! I read this book in three days… I just couldn’t put it down. There are so many twists and surprises that make you want to read more and more… I think it would make a pretty good movie :]]

i had to read this for a summer project and at first i thought it was stupid but then i loved it and im not the biggest fn of reading so the book is real good you i recomend it to everyone!!
this book was good i had to take a lot n at the begining though. truthfully when i 1st pick this book up n my library io was exicted then it hink after the 1st 2 ages i didnt want to read it but this i was dertermind to read it(yes i got it bak this year). i read a few pages n class untill i hit an enterseting spot n maybe somewhere around the 10th chapter. i was coming from out of town when we stopped my my grandparents house to c my cusins. my female cousin was reading so after a while i remembered i had my book i(which i carry in my back-pack-purse beacuse it is way easier than putting it n my back pack). I pick up whee i left off read it the whole time i was htere all the way home and when i was home until i hit the end! yep a really good book but i wish i could see the charcaters the way he ment for them to b seen because alomst all of them seem weird to me but i reallly enjoyed the book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book is so great, MANY unexpected twists, a fantastic story, and a great cover.
At first, the beginning seemed to be a little slow for me, and it made me reluctant to read, but then I was introduced to other characters and their situations and I was instantly hooked. Neal Shusterman did an awesome job with writing this book, because there were many parts I found that were just straight out CLEVER.
It’s a lovely read, and I’m hoping for a sequel!
This could be the start of a brand new series! I really want to know what happens next! i would love to read another one!
I REALLY want to read this book!!! I am reading the book the schwa was here by Neal and I LOVE it!! It’s great. So if one book by him is good, I bet this one’s just as good!

I don’t usually read books but I’ve read lots and I usually just pick up a book that looks good and read it from the beginning and if it sounds good i read it through. I’ve got to say i been reading this book and only got like 30 pages left and i started just the day b4 yesterday. It is a great book.
I had to do a project by reading 3 boks from one author. I decided to do Neal Shusterman when I found out he had written at least 3 books. I picked Full Tilt, Dread Locks, and Everlost. Everlost was my longest book and it didn’t look that interesting from the start, but I kept reading and reading and got engaged in this book. Sooner othan I expected, I was finished. I’m so glad he wrote a sequel to this! (It’s just came out in 2009) Full Tilt is still my ultimate favorite book by any author. It has been for over a year. Great job Neal! You inspire me!
I honestly did not pay attention when i got this book. I went to the library because i needed a book for my English class and I checked out a random book and it turned out to be Everlost by Neal Shusterman. When i went to class and actually started reading it and I got into the book. It is a really great book and it outs images in your head and you can picture everything its just amazing. It also puts you to think about some stuff..I Loved it, it was fantastic!

only read half of it so far and cant put it down its an awsome book and i heard there is going to be a book called everwild that is spose to be a falow up on everlost and i cant wait after im done with it ima go get that one.

Ok this book is so vivid in detail and I could relate to it since i was 14 too. The book is really good and i read it in a day, it seems so real that you wonder if thats what actually happened and creat’s a wonderful picture in your mind. If you plan to be a writer or have time to spare i definatly would read this book for laughs thought’s and a few more emotions it just might mix in!
