Topografix While not specifically Google Earth related, this company creates applications that manage GPS waypoints and data.  EasyGPS is a free program that creates GPX files that can be imported into Google Earth.

Not to be confused with "Topographix", which is a cemetery mapping company.

RandomConnections This is my personal blog.  As the name implies, it's a really random collection of writings, but there is a category for geocaching and maps. http://www.randomconnections.com
Content Resources These links either have content specific for Google Earth, or have information that could be used to generate Google Earth files and/or lessons.
Google Lit Trips This site features Google Earth files corresponding to classic literature. Some of the titles include Candide, The Aeneid, The Oddyssey, The Grapes of Wrath, and Macbeth.  Resources are targeted toward high school.  Some of the files were created by students. http://www.googlelittrips.org
Atlas Obscura "A compendium of the world's wonders, curiosities, and esoterica" - while not specifically a Google Earth resource, many of the locations are mapped on Google Maps, which, in turn, can be display in Google Eart. http://www.atlasobscura.com
Google Earth Education Community This is a site run by a teacher in Tucson, AZ which highlights content for educators uploaded to the Google Earth discussion forums.  The site also includes tutorials and tips for teachers. http://edweb.tusd.k12.az.us/dherring/ge/googleearth.htm
Google Earth Lessons As the name implies, this is a site that features suggestions for using Google Earth in the classroom.  There are some downloadable files and links to other resources.  The information hasn't been updated since July of last year, and most of the tutorials reference version 3 of the program instead of the current version 4, however it's still work a visit. http://www.gelessons.com
NASA Earth Observations NEO provides real-time and historic data about atmospheric and oceanographic readings.  These are displayed as Google Earth overlays. http://neo.sci.gsfc.nasa.gov/Search.html
USGS Geographic Name Server Need to find a location and all you have is a place name?  This is the resource for you!  Enter a place name, select a feature type (whether mountain, river, town, etc.) and enter a state.  The query will return a list of possible results, along with lat/long coordinates. http://geonames.usgs.gov

The site owner began by posting his own collections of GPS waypoints, routes, and tracks.  Since then, others have contributed to the collection.  The site is broken down into categories for hiking, scenic drives, etc.  The files can be opened by Google Earth, but contain only brief titles for each location and no descriptions. http://www.travelbygps.com
Panoramio Panoramio is an image hosting site that is specific to geotagging.  Uploaded images must be geotagged with lat/long data.  Panoramio also appears as an available layer within the Google Earth program itself. http://www.panoramio.com
Flickr Flickr is another image hosting service.  It is more popular than Panoramio, but not all of its images are geotagged.  Also, Flickr is owned by Yahoo, which is a direct competitor with Google.  Therefore, any integration with Google Earth must come through third-party services. http://www.flickr.com
