Welcome Back!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:08 pm

I have missed all of you this summer and can't wait to talk with all of you about the books you have been reading.  We are going to put the cover up outside the Library Media Center for the first 30 students who submit their favorite summer book.  We will then draw for 3 winners to enjoy a tasty treat!

Write down the name of the book, the author, and your first and last name.

See you soon…big hugs,

Mrs.Wright

Hi All…

We have Team Read and Reading Counts wrapping up!  Our combined party will be on May 1st!  You must have your 30 books read or 100 points by April 30th so I can get the names out to the teachers.  Also next week's Book Fair…if you have read 20 books for Team Read you will be allowed to select one book (valued no more than $5) from the fair as our gift to you!  Congrats to all our great readers!!!

Happy Holidays

Filed under: Greetings — admin @ 11:29 pm

I am so proud of all the students and teachers who have taken the time to share their book reviews with all of us at BSIS!  Keep up the "great" work and remember to use your initials and NOT your name!

Happy reviewing….Hugs, Mrs. Wright

I look forward to reading more of your reviews on the different books you read.  You may include the MP3 players and movies based on books too.

Keep up the comments and please tell us a little more about the books so others will want to read them.

Welcome to the BSIS Media Center Blog!

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:21 pm

Welcome to our book talk blog! Please share with us about the latest or greatest books you have read. If you didn’t like a book…tell us why. If you really liked a book tell us why.

Please never give away an ending to a book. I hope to see daily posts as we begin the journey into “blogging” together here at the Beech!

You can use a scale of 1-10 to rate a book if you like. 10 being an excellent rating for a book. Keep your reviews simple and to the point.

You could be the next person to recommend a really great book. Books connect people in so many different ways…here is your chance to share your voice with the world.

I look forward to reading all your reviews!
Mrs. J. Wright
